Our 4-hour bay trip is a perfect introduction to fishing San Diego’s protected waters, working the shallows for scrappy Spotted Bay Bass — a year-round staple known for punching well above their weight. Depending on the season, you’ll also find Sand Bass, Halibut, Bonito, Corvina, Croaker, Bonefish and Barracuda in the mix. As a private charter, it’s just your group aboard, and it’s not unusual to land well over 100 bass in a single outing when they’re biting. This trip appeals to everyone from beginner to seasoned expert because it’s so much fun! Bay Fishing 6 Hours - $975

The extended version of our bay charter gives you more time to work the tides and dial in on what’s biting that day. While you still catch lots of Spotted Bay Bass to keep you busy, we really try to target big Sand Bass and Halibut, but occasionally we catch all kinds of critters such as sharks, rays, big sea bass and many others! The extra hours pay off most in spring and fall, when Halibut push into the bay to spawn — timing matters, and this trip gives you room to find it. A solid pick for a full morning or afternoon of private charter fishing without heading offshore.
Inshore 8 Hours - $1,395

Our inshore trip is a favorite for anglers looking for a fishing charter that pushes past the bay into nearshore waters, reefs, kelp beds and banks like the 9 Mile Bank. Here you’ll find Rockfish and Lingcod, Bonito, Barracuda, Bass and even the occasional Yellowtail! This is can be excellent “freezer filler” fishing — steady and productive. Captain Al is on San Diego’s waters daily, so as your guide, he adjusts the plan to whatever’s actually biting.
Coronados 10 Hours
$1,695 for 2 passengers - $1,995 for 3 passengers
A full-day San Diego sportfishing trip to the Coronado Islands, prime grounds for Yellowtail from summer into fall and home to some of the biggest Lingcod available year round. This private charter is a more focused, technical trip — you should have formidable experience to take advantage of the opportunity. When the yellowtail bite turns on at the islands, it’s some of the best fishing San Diego has to offer. When they aren’t around the bottom fishing is truly second to none! A passport is required for this trip as are additional permits (not included).
Offshore 10 Hours - $1,995

Our longest-range trip is built for anglers chasing San Diego’s biggest gamefish. In warmer months that means Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna and even Marlin! Sometimes Dorado and Yellowtail can be found on kelps offshore. Come fall, we can shift to Swordfish, fished on electric reels in deep water — a patient, technical style for anglers who want to land one of the ocean’s most prized catches (upon request). With just two passengers, this private fishing charter is fully tailored to your goals, guided by Captain Al’s decades of experience reading San Diego’s offshore waters.
